EMDB Hold/Release Policy
- EMDB strongly encourages depositors to make their data publicly available as soon as possible and not to put their data on hold.
- Beginning January 2011, maps may be held (before release) no longer than one (1) year and structure factors may be held no longer than one (1) year from the deposition date.
- Hold requests must be submitted at the time of the initial deposition.
